FR | Ekho est une association qui entend dynamiser le monde de la lutherie, bousculer les idées reçues et surtout, créer du lien entre luthiers et musiciens. Dans le cadre du CMIREB, consacré pour la toute première fois au violoncelle, Ekho présente sa deuxième édition.
Ekho#2 propose aux musiciens et mélomanes d’essayer les instruments et archets de 60 créateurs venant des 4 coins du monde.
Ekho#2, ce sont aussi des conférences et des ateliers pratiques sur des sujets indispensables à la compréhension des instruments.
Ekho#2 présente des musiciens de chez nous et d’ailleurs lors de quatre concerts gratuits.
Ekho#2 met en lumière l’histoire passionnante du violoncelle à l’occasion de deux expositions : l’une consacrée à l’histoire du violoncelle illustrée par la présence d’instruments anciens et l’autre dédiée à l’Ecole belge du violoncelle.

Ekho#2 geeft musici en muziekliefhebbers de kans om instrumenten en strijkstokken uit te proberen van zestig bouwers uit de hele wereld.
Ekho#2 biedt ook lezingen en doe-ateliers die bijdragen tot een beter begrip van de instrumenten.
Ekho#2 stelt musici van bij ons en van elders voor tijdens vier gratis concerten.
Ekho#2 brengt de boeiende cellogeschiedenis in beeld met twee tentoonstellingen: de ene gewijd aan de geschiedenis van het instrument aan de hand van oude instrumenten en de andere gewijd aan de Belgische Celloschool.
En | Ekho is an organisation proposing a new dynamique in the violin making world, changing fixed ideas and above all forging a link between musicians and (violin) makers. Within the framework of the Queen Elisabeth Competition, dedicated to the cello for the very first time, Ekho presents its second exhibition.
Ekho#2 is an opportunity for musicians (both professional and amateur) to try instruments and bows by 60 makers from around the world.
Ekho#2 includes conferences and workshops on subjects vital to our understanding of instruments.
Ekho#2 will present four free concerts with musicians from both Belgium and abroad.
Ekho#2 will relate the fascinating history of the cello in two exhibitions: one dedicated to the history of the cello illustrated by historical instruments and the other covers the Belgian school of cello playing.
